Wrote a piece for Blush Magazine EVANESCENT ISSUE titled “Rip Me Apart”, looking at how female rage is portrayed across different film and media. I spoke with Brooklyn filmmaker Nitzan Mager about her short film Run Amok, an Oscar-qualifying, award-winning project that made into Vimeo Staff Picks. We got into what it means to show women losing control on screen, and why that kind of honesty matters.
Wrote a memoir for 2LATE Magazine’s “ORIGINS” issue titled “I <3 Women”. It’s about growing up around strong, complex women, my mom and sister, and how they shaped the way I love, listen, and hold space for others. Moving to NYC was disorienting at first, but over time, I found pieces of home in new friendships, in late-night talks, shared silence, and unspoken understanding. It’s about how girlhood doesn’t end when you grow up, it just evolves.
